7 Seniors Leading The Charge For The Ravens

(GEORGETOWN,Del)-The Sussex Tech Ravens boys soccer team are loaded with experience this season.7 seniors lead the charge and Head Coach Carlos Villa said the expectations are running high.

"We have to progress quickly and that is a challenge with young adolescents, and that is a challenge trying to get them where you want them or where they need to be," said Villa.

Coach Villa said Patrick Short has been one of the more impressive players this season.Villa added that the sophomore is a key player on the offensive side.

"Just finding different gaps and being patient because you are going to stop but you have to forget what happened previously," said Villa.

Joshua Aritga will also be counted on to power the offense.and the goals of winning the conference title this season.

"I circle the Cape game and the CR game because I have a couple players on the travel ball team," said Artiga.
"But it is always is a big game between Cape and CR. Those are our biggest rivals for school."

The Ravens will host both division rival games. They play the Caesar Rodney Riders on September 28th at 4:00 PM. Then the Ravens will take on the Cape Vikings on October 5th at 5:30 PM.
