Eagles Fans And Redskins Fans Go Head To Head in Season Opener

(LANDOVER, Md.) - You could feel the passion at FedEx Field as fans tailgated before the Redskins home opener against the Eagles.

But if you didn't know any better you would think you were in Philadelphia.

Delmarva fans of both teams, who came from Delaware and Maryland, and even those who came from Philadelphia bonded despite, the intense NFC rivalry.

"It's all love. You see me. You see me. I'm a Redskins fan. All y'all Eagles fans, we're about to get this win," said one Redskins fan.

"They say they got us the last 5 games. We don't really care about that. We're ready to take this one today," one Eagles fan said.
There were a couple of fights in the stands between the Eagles fans and Redskins fans. But for the most part, everything was peaceful today, and for the Eagles fans went home happy because their team got the win.
