In NASCAR you are measured on performance and how many wins you have. Their is more to Martin Truex Jr. than what he is doing on the track. Back in 2007 he started the Martin Truex Jr. Foundation.

"We have met some great folks and a lot of great kids we have been able to help,"said Truex Jr.
"So I think along the way they have helped give more inspiration than we have given them so it really works both ways and we really get a lot of pride out of helping and raising money and do all what we do,"said Truex Jr.

The President at Furniture Row Racing Joe Garon said Truex Jr. is a special person.

"He is really gracious, family, oriented, and just a great guy,"said Garone.
